A Low Impact Woodland House

Ever since Lord of the Rings I have wanted to live in a Hobbit House. I love the idea of an organic looking, round, earthy design built into the side of a hill. It just seems so natural. Well here's an axample of a house very similar to that. It's main focus was to make the house cheap and with as little environmental impact as possible. It's made with all recycled or organic supplies and could well be the way of the future. I'm totally excited by it coz most houses these days bore the shit out of me, have almost zero character and are essentially just slight varyations on all the other energy sucking Ikea houses out there. Loads of info on how and why this (and many other) home was built is available at http://www.simondale.net/house/
